WSB-TV’s beloved anchor Jovita Moore lost her battle with brain cancer at the age of 53. Her memory is honored throughout the city, including in this mural near Grant Park.

Former Georgia Senator Johnny Isakson passed away at the age of 76. He was a politician respected by both parties and lived by the motto “There are two types of people in this world: friends and future friends.” Isakson retired in 2019 for several health reasons, including progressive Parkinson’s.

Henry Louis “Hank” Aaron passed in his sleep at the age of 86. Aaron was an Atlanta Braves icon and a civil rights activist.
