Non-Profit to honor 9/11 victims with 20 million good deeds

by The 100 Companies

In honor of the 20th anniversary of the Sept.11 attacks, national non-profit 9/11 Day is setting a goal of performing 20 million good deeds in one day. The organization strives to pay tribute to the tragedy’s victims and first responders and hopes to build unity across the nation through these acts of service.

In conjunction with the day, among other acts of service, the non-profit is hosting large-scale meal packing events in 11 cities nationwide, including Atlanta. Partnering with Hands on Atlanta, volunteers will pack 200,000 meals for the Atlanta Community Food Bank at the Georgia World Congress Center.
