On Saturday, Aug. 28 from 9:00 a.m.-noon, Doggy Con 2021 will take over Woodruff Park’s main lawn to allow metro Atlantans and their furry friends to get in on the cosplay fun. The free event will feature a pet costume pageant and a vendor village full of dog-centric goods, face painting, a photo booth, a craft station and food trucks.
Pageant participants will have the chance to win amazing prizes valued at over $1,000, including vendor baskets and a five-day membership to Dragon Con.
All proceeds will directly support the construction of a future WoodRUFF Park dog park.
