Shipping container grocery stores coming to Atlanta

by The 100 Companies

The economic developer, Invest Atlanta, has announced its board approval for a grant of $600k to fund two new container-built grocery stores from Nourish + Bloom Market.

The market is the first Black-owned, autonomous grocery store with robotic delivery in the U.S. Jamie and Jilea Hemmings created the business after their oldest son was diagnosed with autism. Since then, they have been on a mission to offer locally sourced produce, meats, dairy, baked goods and more.

The two Nourish + Bloom grocer containers are planned to have sites near the BeltLine along the Southside Trail and along Campbellton Road.
