3 Georgia companies make Forbes Best Large Employers list

Forbes magazine recently released its annual list of America’s 500 Best Large Employers. The company works with Statisa to survey 45,000 people who work at companies and institutions that have more than 5,000 employees. Questions include whether they would recommend the company to family and friends and what other employers they would recommend.

The three companies in Georgia that made the list are:

• No. 12 – Delta Air Lines, 90,000 employees

• No. 15 – Southern Company, 27,000 employees

• No. 45 – Emory Healthcare, 24,000 employees

The top three companies on the list are Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Houston Methodist and Mayo Clinic (Minnesota).
