Coming back to the office after the holidays can be challenging. After relaxing and spending time with family and friends, it’s hard to get back into the daily grind. However, there are a few ways to refocus for the new year.
• Get organized. Taking 5-10 minutes to reorganize your work area takes stress away that you might not even realize was there.
• Don’t overcommit to meetings or projects the first week and risk getting overwhelmed.
• Set a few goals for the year (professional or personal). Giving yourself something to work toward can add a new purpose to your work.
