When you walk into a job interview or are told to give a presentation at next week’s meeting, the resulting nerves can be overwhelming. However, today’s technology-driven world has solutions for this problem that utilize virtual reality.
Many apps are available that simulate environments – such as auditoriums or conference rooms – and audiences to help individuals build public speaking skills. The app and online program VirtualSpeech offers courses, training and simulations for a variety of virtual settings, including job interviews, networking events and sales pitches. VirtualSpeech also provides feedback analyzing user response to distractions, pace and use of eye contact.
