With Atlanta’s growing beer scene, it’s a surprise to me that there aren’t more growler shops ITP.
My favorite one, however, is My Friend’s Growler Shop. The “Who’s on First” joke waiting to happen is nestled on Memorial Drive across from Oakland Cemetery. The intimate store is filled with knowledgable staff, along with a satisfying supply of local and national beers.
This Saturday, the store will be celebrating its third anniversary with “an epic tap takeover.” The already impressive lineup includes many hard-to-find brews including Orpheus Abandon All Hope, Scofflaw Absentia and the ever-elusive Foothills Sexual Chocolate.
