Yesterday, Nine Mile Station opened to thirsty crowds eager to indulge on the roof of Ponce City Market on more than just beer and hotdogs. The city’s newest rooftop beer garden and cocktail bar, adjacent to Skyline Park, features 12 beers on tap, a bottle selection, craft cocktails, “beer-tails” on tap and wine.
The European-inspired, New American menu is the brainchild of Jonathan McDowell, formerly of Barcelona Wine Bar, and features mixed grill, crudités and charcuterie plates.
Nine Mile Station, whose name pays homage to Atlanta’s 1920s streetcar, will serve a brunch menu in the near future.
