Cristo Rey Atlanta Jesuit High School, a school for disadvantaged teenagers, will soon move from its home in a converted three-story Midtown office building to Downtown’s Oxford Industries building. The $4.5 million space, which was donated to the school by Jim Cumming, is currently undergoing necessary renovations.
The new 70,000-square-foot building will have science labs, a gymnasium and more, offering plenty of room for the 550 students expected at full enrollment.
The high school, which allows students to pay tuition through their participation in the Corporate Work Study program, boasts a 100% college acceptance rate.
