Last year, every conference I attended had someone presenting on Millennials. Though I love getting told about my shopping habits, I’m glad we’re moving on to Gen Z.
Gen Z (born between 1993 and 2012) is one of the largest generational groups, representing over 25% of the population. They are also the first digital native generation, having grown up with modern digital experiences. Koupon Media recently released a report about Gen Z-specific efforts.
Findings included: Gen Z’ers prefer YouTube, are cash conscious and don’t hate branded messages. This means content marketing and videos in PR are here to stay.
