Rolling Stones

by Jan Schroder

Though too slow to buy Rolling Stones tickets for Tuesday at Bobby Dodd, I’ll soon be reminiscing with best buddies Mike Egan and Charles Driebe about our Greensboro road trip July 40 years ago, when five friends were fast enough to sprint to front-of-stage spots.

I hauled a camera. One cracked his full-length leg cast when he jumped to the Coliseum’s general admission floor.

We held onto the stage for dear life during a legendary setlist.

Though The Stones will soon say It’s All Over Now, we’ll continue ogling my photos and be Happy that Time is on Our Side.
