To me, corporate culture is paramount.
I’ve encountered three approaches to corporate culture. In some organizations, culture is acknowledged daily in words and actions. One company wrote its core values on the back of every business card, so that neither employees nor customers would forget them.
The second approach acknowledges corporate culture, perhaps articulating values, but doesn’t emphasize it. The third approach is the most common. Corporate culture isn’t defined, much less managed. It simply unfolds, and employees must decipher it on their own.
Culture is the key driver of success and team morale. Which approach does your organization take?
