Community colleges, its students and graduates cheered after Tom Hanks’ “I Owe It All to Community College” appeared in The New York Times last week. We also heralded the column, as community college graduates are vital to the IT industry.

As IT platforms are constantly evolving, students can economically attend a two-year school, streamlining their education, to pick up new trends – rather than spending four years trying to discover their passion.

We are already seeing a spike in community college graduates in the tech market. Companies need talent, and the community college market is there to fill the employment gap.
