Located across the street from the iconic Fox Theatre, The Georgian Terrace is a historic presence in its own right.
The iconic Atlanta landmark debuted in October 1911, becoming the “epicenter of Southern culture” and marveling guests with grand features including marble columns, lavish ballrooms and crystal chandeliers lining the interior.
One of the first hotels built outside of downtown Atlanta, it cost $500,000 to construct and has gone on to host well-known names such as President Coolidge, Walt Disney, F. Scott Fitzgerald and Elvis Presley.
Closed in the 1980s, it reopened in the 1990s with an added 19-story wing.
