The Milledgeville, Georgia, home of famed American author Flannery O’Connor has reopened to the public after nearly a year of restoration and repair.
O’Connor lived with her mother at Andalusia for 13 years while it operated as a dairy farm. Life at Andalusia influenced many of the Southern Gothic writer’s fictional stories, and is where the bulk of her literary work was completed.
