This week, I came out on a national PR website. It felt like it was the right time.
For years, I’d been dabbling on both sections of the game. Finally, when I was single and working at my final daily newspaper (before I began working for myself at age 36), I took a hard look at myself. In the mornings, I was working on an IBM in advertising and then, in the afternoons, I’d wander downstairs to work on an Apple Macintosh designing news pages.
So I’ve finally come out: I’m a bi-sectional – working both sides – news and advertising.
