The Center for Family Resources is hosting its 28th annual food distribution program, Thanks for Giving, because “every family deserves the Thanksgiving tradition of a meal together.”
More than 4,000 individuals living in Cobb County celebrated Thanksgiving last year in the privacy of their own homes thanks to food boxes provided by the organization.
Thousands of families have signed up for a food box this year, but the center still needs help fulfilling all of the requests.
Canned food donations, or monetary donations, can be dropped off at the center in Marietta until Nov. 21. For more information, visit www.thecfr.org.
