Haven’t received a COVID-19 vaccine? Many having trouble scoring an appointment are trying their luck through alternate avenues. To avoid wasting vaccines, many sites have begun implementing end-of-day ‘no waste’ waitlists.
VaxStandby.com and Dr. B partnered to match people on their waitlist to nearby vaccine providers with extra doses remaining each day. And many have found luck cold-calling vaccine sites to ask if they will have leftover doses or request being placed on a waitlist.
Recipients must be at least 16 years of age, a Georgia resident, located within 30 minutes of the site and accept any vaccine brand.
