Strengthen your core, find your center

I’m a workaholic, so self-care tends to fall after family and client commitments.

Recently I began practicing Pilates, mostly because of hip issues. My chiropractor said if I didn’t strengthen my core, nothing would change. I started going with two girlfriends and have put it in my calendar as a “9am meeting.”

It’s become a social thing, a “me” thing and most of all it leaves me feeling better – centered from the inside out. I’m becoming stronger, which is allowing me to show up differently for my staff, family and friends. That’s why self-care should always be encouraged.
