Alexa in your hotel room?

“What time does the pool close?” “May I have a cheeseburger please?” These are the types of questions guests at hotels with the new Echos from Alexa for Hospitality can ask.

Wynn Las Vegas has installed them and Marriott International plans to add them to rooms in some of its brands, including Westins, St. Regis and Autograph Collection Hotels, starting this summer.

Amazon is planning on allowing users to link their own Amazon accounts during their stay so you could listen to your music or audio books. I’d most likely give it the alarm clock treatment and unplug it immediately.
