Snack alert: peanuts coming back to Delta

Delta serves 660,000 snacks a day on its 6,000 flights. That was one of the fun facts I learned during a talk by Lisa Bauer, VP of Onboard Services, at the Atlanta Food & Wine Festival last week.

While I was happy to hear the airline is putting more emphasis on the taste and quality of food for its folks in premium classes, what about the rest of us at the back of the plane?

Then she told us the peanuts are coming back. “Delta is a Georgia company and we want to support our peanut farmers,” Lisa said.
