The easy way to get discount tix to NYC shows

People form long lines every day to buy discount show tickets at the TKTS Discount Booth in New York. I found a better way.

I downloaded the TodayTix app and found listings for more than 160 shows with prices starting at around $32. I entered a lottery for a ticket to “John Lithgow: Stories By Heart” for $25.

I didn’t win. But I was eligible to buy a ticket for $30. Sold! I purchased the ticket on the app and picked it up from a woman standing outside the theater. I was in the orchestra section with a fabulous view.
