Ghost Hunting in Georgia

by

If you’re looking to get spooked this Halloween, check out a few of the most haunted places in Georgia.

A ghost named Agnes from the early 1900s is said to haunt Brenau College in Gainesville. Edwin Booth, brother of Lincoln assassin John Wilkes Booth, haunts Springer Opera House in Columbus. Emily, who died of a broken heart, haunts The Partridge Inn in Augusta, still wearing her wedding dress.

Savannah is full of haunted spots, like The Pirate’s House where sailors float among the tables. Stay in the Kehoe House if you don’t mind hearing the sounds of ghostly children playing.
