As I walked from my luxurious suite to lounge in the infinity pool overlooking the Pacific Ocean, I spied four men in chef’s coats in the kitchen cooking our dinner, a sight that filled me with immense happiness.
I was spending a few glorious days at Villa Manzu, an 8-suite, all-inclusive private estate nestled on a five-acre cliff on Peninsula Papagayo in Costa Rica. The property includes two pools, a home theater, game room, gym and access to a nearby beach club.
We hiked, snorkeled, enjoyed amazing chef-cooked meals, and I had the best massage of my life. Paradise? Found.
