Last week on my usual commute, I happened to look over at passing traffic in the HOV lane. What I saw made me do a quadruple-take.
A woman had stretched a bright shirt over her passenger seat and stuck a hat atop the headrest. Because she was driving in the HOV lane and no one (besides her fake seat companion) was with her, I can only assume this woman had fashioned her traffic friend in hopes of duping police.
I had to laugh. Half of me wished she would get pulled over, while the other half respected this woman’s boldness.
