Another holiday weekend in Atlanta approaches, which can leave the city gridlocked on Friday as people leave in droves to enjoy the long weekend, then again on Monday when they return.
In anticipation of the congestion, GDOT is suspending all construction-related lane closures from noon Friday until 5 AM Tuesday.
I’m interested in the outcome. Maybe this will be the solution to holiday traffic.
