Never ones to rest on their casks since founding their company in Atlanta 17 years ago, Freddy Bensch and Kevin McNerney at Sweetwater Brewing Company have partnered with Delta Air Lines to serve Sweetwater 420 on the 34 daily flights between Atlanta and LaGuardia.
Delta approached Sweetwater when the airline learned that the brewery recently began distributing its most popular brew in cans, making it possible for its product to take to the skies.
Sweetwater is recognized as one of the top craft brewers in the country and brews beer 24 hours a day from its location on Ottley Drive.
