Major League Soccer and Atlanta United are officially back – kind of. After suspending all upcoming games back in March, the season returned with a twist. The 24 teams (Dallas and Nashville teams had to withdraw) will compete in a tournament-style format, without spectators, at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort.
All teams and staff for the games were tested before arriving in Orlando, as well as every other day for two weeks after arrival. Since then, all have stayed in “a bubble” and are retested prior to each match day to ensure everyone’s safety.
