Local pet shelters in crisis plead for adopters

by The 100 Companies

The feel-good moments experienced as pet adoptions surged during the pandemic have come to an end as local shelters again reach a critical moment contending with severe overcrowding.

LifeLine Animal Project is pleading for people to consider adoption to help alleviate local facilities bursting at the seams with pets desperate for forever homes. Shelters must find homes for hundreds of dogs in just over a week or will be forced to begin euthanizing to make space for more incoming animals.

If you’re able to help, come adopt this weekend or consider fostering a pet. View adoptable pets at www.lifelineanimal.org/adopt.
