Zoo Atlanta and Hanart Culture have partnered again this year for a one-of-a-kind illuminated Chinese lantern festival. Zoo Atlanta’s Illuminights at the Zoo: A Chinese Lantern Festival features more than 80 lanterns inspired by some of the world’s most incredible plants and animals.
Each lantern was hand-crafted by Chinese artisans and features environmentally-friendly LED lights. In addition, the Endangered Species Carousel and select gift shops and food and beverage stations are open throughout the Zoo featuring festival-inspired items.
The festival is open 5:30-9:30PM daily through Jan. 15, with last entry at 8PM. Purchasing tickets online in advance is strongly recommended.
