I live in a quaint 1929 bungalow in Kirkwood. It’s hard to believe I’ve been here almost 20 years. I’ve painted, renovated, added on and lately given a little more TLC due to age.
Recently, I discovered a buckling floor that led to uncovering a mold issue in the crawl space. Like any old house, one problem opens the door to others, which is overwhelming. Foundation issues, old water line, damaged sewer line and much more.
A contractor asked, “maybe time to sell?” We’ve lived a good life together, I’m not giving up on her just because she’s breaking down.
