Since my MS diagnosis in 2018 I’ve had a really hard time meditating. Sitting still, quieting my mind, calming my soul. I practiced faithfully for four years and then … off the rails.
Here we are in June 2020 and I still struggle to find that incredible zen I was able to chase with morning meditation. During quarantine I tried again, nothing. Frustrated, I began walking every night, only missing rainy days.
Little did I know I would feel guilty missing a walk with Morton, getting stronger, losing weight, disconnecting and even creating a new habit that provides results similar to meditation!
