Fifteen years ago I moved to Kirkwood. After finding the perfect bungalow, I got turned on to acupuncture in neighboring Oakhurst. I was intrigued by this form of Chinese medicine yet a bit afraid of the needles used, but not for long.
This has become an important weekly treatment/ritual. From broken bones, insomnia, vertigo and even a benign breast tumor, this practice has taken my healing to the next level and complements traditional medicine. Acupuncture keeps me in tune with my body, the qi flowing and my body moving.
Who knew this would be one of my favorite neighbors!
