Celebrating Atlantans during Women’s History Month

March is Women’s History Month, a time to reflect and honor the many achievements of women through history and celebrate those making vast strides today. Atlanta is home to countless trailblazers from civil rights leaders and politicians to businesswomen and beyond.

To this day, we feel the impact of civil rights leaders Coretta Scott King, Evelyn Lowery and Xernona Clayton. Spanx’s Sara Blakely is one of the richest self-made women in history. And Stacey Abrams and Keisha Lance Bottoms brought Atlanta politics to the national stage.

With these, and many others, it’s safe to say we’re in good company.
