At first glance, Kia’s seven-seater may appear just to be another car built for soccer practice and the carpool line. Sure, moms will be happy driving the Sorento, but so will everyone else.
Like Buick, Kia has luxury aspirations – hence the Sorento’s $46k price tag fully-loaded. That sounds pricey until you consider that a blinged-out Sorento features better MPG, dependability and handling than the ubiquitous Chevy Tahoe, which merely starts at $1200 more. Though the Sorento doesn’t have the sporty handling of the Mazda CX-9, the ride is silky smooth.
