When King & Spalding moved into its new home at 1180 Peachtree in 2006, it returned to a corner lot that had been the 1892 home of law firm founder Jack Spalding.
SPR Atlanta preserved a slice of a basswood tree Spalding had planted there, creating an award-winning “housewarming” gift to the law firm from its landlord – and our client – developer Hines.
Take a video tour of the display, which recalls famous lawyers, firm highlights and matches photos to corresponding tree rings. It hangs in K&S’s reception area, where attorneys proudly introduce new clients to the firm’s noteworthy past.
