What do the Atlanta Botanical Garden, Carter Center and BeltLine all have in common? All of these Atlanta institutions are part of the PATH Foundation’s network.
The concept was born from three cyclist friends biking to Stone Mountain in 1991. Now, because of PATH, families can walk parts of the 61-mile Silver Comet Trail, bike to the waterfalls at Arabia Mountain or stroll around Buckhead’s beautiful Chastain Park.
PATH’s original recreation-centered idea has now evolved into an urban and suburban connectivity infrastructure that fosters an appreciation for our natural environment and cultural attractions for thousands of daily visitors.
