It’s officially the sweetest month of the year, also known as National Strawberry Month. Although I keep a package of the frozen ruby red gems in my freezer year-round, there’s nothing better than heading to one of Atlanta’s many farmers markets for fresh-picked.
Many Atlanta restaurants are also celebrating the berry delicious month. Head over to Bellina Alimentari for a classic Italian rucola salad topped with strawberries, hazelnuts and balsamic vinaigrette, and a glass of chardonnay.
