Budding chefs sharpen skills at Maggiano’s kids’ classes

by admin

Have a budding chef? Help them whip up tasty food during a cooking class at Maggiano’s Little Italy. Our class, led by Executive Chef Thomas Wenning, started with a kid-friendly buffet featuring pasta Alfredo, chicken fingers and freshly baked bread.

Appetites tamed, we moved to the main menu event: lasagna. Each young chef layered noodles, sauce, meat or veggies and cheese. Afterward, we enjoyed trays of lemon cookies, mini cheesecakes and brownie bites.

We left with house-made lasagna, kid-sized chef’s aprons, more desserts, full bellies and fun memories. Individual classes are $25, and groups are easily accommodated.
