Chef Mel Toledo, formerly in the kitchen of Bacchanalia, recently opened Foundation Social Eatery in Roswell. Well worth the drive from ITP, FSE combines French and Italian influences and offers exquisite dining in a casual setting.
We recently tried FSE and were impressed with the open dining concept and Mel’s attention to new guests; he greeted us with a delightful amuse-bouche. We sampled creative “strong pours” (i.e. cocktails) and a plentiful charcuterie plate before ordering our entrees.
The menu offers an array of options from my choice, lamb Bolognese, to a friend’s sautéed scallops. Check out menu and hours online.
