FreeRentATL charity event to provide support to 25 Atlantans

NBA legend Dominique Wilkins and his wife, Jedidia, will chair the FreeRentATL Charity Event on Friday, Sept. 13, at Monday Night Garage. The event’s goal is to pay the rent for 25 Atlantans for a year.

Last year, the initiative helped seven families, and this year aims to triple that impact. Wilkins, a partner in Roots, a company bridging Atlanta’s wealth gap through its affordable workforce housing REIT, is committed to tackling the city’s housing crisis. The event will feature tastings from top Atlanta chefs and live performances by The New Orleans Suspects and River Eckhert.
