Atlanta Streets Alive will return this summer, transforming varying sections of Peachtree Street into vibrant, car-free spaces for pedestrians, cyclists and skaters to enjoy from 1-5PM on May 19, June 16 and July 28.
This initiative, which is part of an international open streets movement, encourages Atlantans to bike, walk, skate and play in a safe, open environment and features live music, food vendors and interactive activities. Hosted by Propel ATL, the free event fosters community interaction and promotes healthy, active living.
Streets are temporarily closed to vehicles, allowing residents to enjoy the urban landscape in a unique and engaging way.
