September is Hunger Action Month, a time to spread awareness of the commitment towards ending hunger. To help this initiative, Second Helpings Atlanta is presenting “Feed Atlanta: A Night of Giving & Grooving,” on Thursday, Sept. 21 from 6-8 PM at 970 Jefferson St.
The evening will feature food trucks, booze carts, canned cocktails, live music and support for the city’s sole nonprofit dedicated to reducing both hunger and food waste in Metro Atlanta by driving surplus food from grocers, stadiums and corporate kitchens to vital community agencies.
Plus, Second Helpings Atlanta’s new executive director, Paul Clements, will be in attendance.
