Konnichiwa, Japanophiles. Get ready to celebrate the culture and people of the Land of the Rising Sun during JapanFest, Sept. 15-16.
JapanFest is the largest Japanese cultural festival in the Southeast and features 120 vendors selling authentic Japanese food and goods. There will be a children’s area, workshops, games and performances, including Nomura Kyogen Group, master Kyogen performers, and Yoshi Amao’s martial artists. Additionally, the ever-popular Anime Village returns with shopping, voice actors and plenty of cosplay.
Head to Infinite Energy Center Saturday, 10AM-6PM, or Sunday, 10AM-5PM. Advance tickets are $10 or $12 at the door.
