Having demonstrated outstanding leadership skills in their schools and communities, two local high school seniors, Audrey McNeal (Kennesaw) and Sriraksha Sundararaj (Marietta) received the 2020 Claes Nobel Future Female Leader Scholarship by the National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS).
McNeal founded the Political Converse debate club at school, which won the 2019 Princeton Prize in Race Relations, and serves as Chairwoman of the Model Atlanta Regional Youth Commission’s Natural Resources Committee.
Sundararaj is vice president and co-founder of her school’s Women in Engineering Club, organizing projects in STEM-related fields. She is also a 2019 Science and Engineering Fair winner.
