Keep Georgia music thriving

Usher’s performance during this year’s Super Bowl Halftime was the most-watched television show ever, with 123+ million viewers. While Georgia’s music industry radiated globally, its $5 billion economic impact remains stagnant. It’s time Georgia invests in its music economy by establishing a dedicated statewide music office.

There are two bills currently in the state legislature that need support. Both bills, HB549 and SB396, are bipartisan and await a hearing in the Rules Committee.

What can you do?

1) Write and call your state legislators.
2) Post support on your social media pages.
3) Participate in Georgia Music Action Day on Feb. 28. (Toolkit)
