Obama portraits headed to the High Museum

by The 100 Companies

Art lovers get ready, former U.S. President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michele Obama are making their way to Atlanta. In portrait form, that is. Originally unveiled at the Smithsonian’s National Art Gallery as a result of contributions made by artists Kehinde Wiley and Amy Sherald, the two portraits have gained nationwide attention.

The Obama Portraits Tour will open at the High Museum on Jan. 14, remaining on display through March 20. The exhibit will feature the National Portrait Gallery and Princeton University Press illustrated book, workshops and presentations, along with audio-visual elements to enhance the experiences of visitors.
