The Golden Globes recently aired and held notable differences from previous years. Participants were in different locations, mics were silenced and one of the first winners accepting their award experienced some technical difficulties when the viewers could only see the silent video. Despite this, the lively hosts were able to keep viewers intrigued.
This award show perhaps showed a glimpse of the future in the entertainment industry. Needless to say, virtual award shows will be more prominent, and once nailed, hopefully, productions will run much smoother.
Over the coming months, we’ll continue to watch how other award shows are affected.
