Renovate or Move? Part I

Homeowners often ask architects if they should renovate their existing home or move elsewhere. Well, that depends.

Ask yourself a few questions: Have you been in your home for a while and realized some appreciation in value? Do you still enjoy the home and your neighborhood? Can you imagine remaining in the home after the renovation for at least 5-10 years?

If the answers are yes then a renovation can enhance your enjoyment of your home and return added value to your investment in it.
